My favourite web browser is Netscape Communicator 4.6.  However, Microsoft Internet Explorer is not bad either.  In my opinion, the hottest freeware on the Net rightnow has to be the StarOffice 5.0 from Star Division.  It is a complete office productivity software which includes StarWriter, StarCalc, StarDraw, StarImpress, StarBase, StarSchedule, StarMail, and StarDiscussion; respectivly, word processing, spreadsheet, vector art, database, PIM (personal information manager), email, and newsreading programs.  StarOffice is an excellent free substitute for Microsoft Office 97.  Try it out!
